If Democracy Survives - The Future could be Awesome! Solutions for a Better World!

The Green New Deal, Universal Basic Income (UBI) & Social Credit System Economy

Times are surreal right now in the USA in the year 2025. Democracy and Justice are dying on the branch under the rule of the evil orange blob crook and traitor and his cronies.

Yet I write this hopeful essay in spite of this perilous moment in our nation’s short history. Because as an older citizen, I have seen the pendulum swing to the extremes before in this country. If we do make it and Democracy survives another day - here is a near future Utopian vision to counter the trendy dystopian bummer narratives that have dominated for too long.

A Sea Change is Coming to America!

2028 - A progressive or Independent President is elected that understands that Democracy must be fixed and Global Warming is a real crisis. He/She makes the big necessary moves to counter it and move us toward a Green New Deal economy thus averting the worst aspects of Global Warming.

2030 - New Progressive Congress passes legislation that undoes the horrible SCOTUS Citizens United decision, getting big money out of elections to fix/restore our Democracy to We the People and stop an autocratic oligarchy Gilded Age 2.0 from taking over. New laws finally make the top rich 1% pay their fair share of taxes to support necessary social safety nets and implementing a Universal Basic Income/UBI. Research/proof shows how the 1% have accumulated most of their perverted wealth via the rigged Wall Street Casino for 40 years. Greedy corporate machinations, crap wages and the exploitation of the majority of American working citizens will end once and for all.

2032 - By the early 2030s AI has taken around 25% of all jobs and will continue to take even more going forward. Therefore the new President along with Congress will pass legislation to prepare for a new Social Credit Economic System. Each citizen will be given a Social Credit card to be used to build/use credits and utilize aspects of its core elements which will include bartering goods an services, various civic duties and collective/individual business ownership vs the current rigged corporate Wall Street backed model that will be phased out.

2034 - The Wall Street Stock Market system will be phased out over 10 years in favor of individual or collective business ownership. A switch to a more local economic model that is more sustainable and independent of fickle world events. Less carbon footprints via De-growth policies reversing unsustainable GDP targets via less toxic consumption landfill products etc. This will be necessary to accomplish big climate crisis Green New Deal goals for a world free of nasty Fossil Fuels CO2 green house gasses and all the toxic derivative petrol products such as earth/human destroying plastics etc.

Real profits based on Real products/services in Real Time will be the new Economic ethos. No more perverted, hocus-pocus wealth generated through over speculations and ridiculous evaluations via the Stock Market casino - owned and manipulated and mostly benefited by the top 1-10% of citizens since its inception. Your business will grow as much as you can handle - no more - no less. Folks will still be able to scale and get rich but not perverted BS fake money casino Stock Market rich.

2036 - Factory Farming will be phased out. No more immoral treatment of other conscious creatures. People’s meat eating will have to adjust/lessen based on the switch to all organic farming techniques and distance separation of slaughter houses from any fruits and vegetables being grown nearby to avoid any more food poisonings via the animal fecal matter. People will be healthier, animals will be treated with respect/care and global warming reduced - a win/win/win!

2038 - As citizens adjust to losing their traditional soul sucking jobs, there will be ongoing government trainings available to help guide them into the new Social Credit Economy where skills and services can be bartered with a SC card. Good deeds for the Common Good will also be part of the mix converting positive community actions into currency to be used to pay bills, buy food stuffs and desired material stuff.

2040 - Solar, Wind, Bio-waste and Geothermal Systems will provide 90% of all energy for the USA via the Green New Deal’s rapid switch to renewables. The 70% of the 40% of national food waste will be collected and utilized as bio fuel and compost for farmers around the country. Half of the fields once dedicated to to growing corn etc to feed factory farm cattle for hamburgers will be converted to new rotation crops of various types of veggies for mass consumption with a proven healthy plant based Mediterranean Diet the new national ideal diet goal for all citizens to bring down cancer, obesity rates and all the chronic illnesses most Americans suffered from. Inner Cities will develop indoor hydroponic farms for various easy to grow veggies and fruits.

These Progressive policies and so many more common good legislations will happen like Universal Health Care and Free College options that will drastically improve the quality of life for the majority of citizens of the USA!

That is if We the People are willing to unite and fight and sacrifice a little to make it happen! Let’s do this!
